// TRAINING & LESSONS
Learn how to do it yourself — with someone patient sitting beside you.
Not everything is a repair. Sometimes you just want to learn how to do something — and to have someone show you, in plain English, on your own computer. For over 22 years we've helped people across Macclesfield and the surrounding areas get confident with their computers, tablets and phones. Lessons are one-to-one and go at your pace, in your own home or over the internet, and we're happy to go over anything as many times as it takes.

There's no such thing as a silly question — tell us what you'd like to be able to do, and we'll build the lesson around that.
Book a lessonGetting confident with a computer, tablet or phone
The basics done properly — switching on, getting around Windows, finding your files, changing settings, and getting comfortable with a new laptop, tablet or phone. Perfect if you're starting out or have just been given a new device.
Email, the internet & keeping in touch
Sending and receiving email, searching the web safely, and video calls with family and friends on Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp — so a face and a chat are only ever a couple of taps away.
Photos, printing & everyday tasks
Getting photos off your phone or camera, organising them so you can actually find them again, printing the ones you love, and handling everyday jobs like online shopping and filling in forms with confidence.
Staying safe online
Spotting scam emails, texts and phone calls, choosing passwords you can actually remember, shopping and banking safely, and knowing which pop-ups and "your computer is infected" warnings to ignore. Peace of mind, not panic.
Why people learn with us
One-to-one and patient. No jargon and no rushing. It's just you and one friendly person who explains things clearly and is happy to go back over anything until it clicks.
In your own home or over the internet. Learn on your own computer or device, where what you learn actually sticks — or by video call from the comfort of your armchair if you'd prefer.
We teach what you want to do. There's no fixed syllabus. Tell us the thing that's been bugging you — whether it's a wobbly printer or calling the grandchildren — and that's what we'll work on.
